This photo is from a project we were in the midst of installing in Middleton, WI. The homeowner had a small dog with mobility issues. She selected these wirebrushed hickory treads for maximum slip resistance.
This stair case was updated with stair treads constructed from engineered, slip resistant wood in Deckwood style. The charcoal color works well with the gray linoleum floor.
This project was for a client who had mesquite colored cork throughout their home. The stairs were fitted with a stained stair nosing piece and the cork flooring was fit to size.

It is difficult to see, but this stair case was built using walnut stained bamboo flooring for the treads and the risers. We mitered the front pieces for the appearance of a thicker tread piece.
