One of our original patterns from 22 years ago! Carbonized Horizontal bamboo has a warm, teak-like tone with 1"wide stripe showing the characteristic growth node markings. The flooring is steamed, which means the sugars in the bamboo grass are cooked. The colored of this carbonized (steamed) bamboo is a result of that process. The color is throughout the plank.
