Our bamboo flooring is available in steamed (darker shades) or natural color (lighter shades). You can get a different effect by utilizing different construction of the planks. Vertical construction is the side profile of the individual strips of bamboo. Horizontal construction is the face profile of the bamboo strips showing the growth nodes.

For commercial applications or for high traffic households, our fibre strand-woven bamboo ( is 2x harder than the standard bamboo planks. Strand boards are actually constructed from shredding 5" of bamboo strips and compressing them into the 5/8" thick plank. The result is an extremely dense and dent resistant material.

For extremely high traffic areas or where a more a hand-hewn look is desired, consider our handscraped, wide-plank bamboo flooring selections. Available in Chestnut or Walnut stains, these selections are an excellent choice where high traffic is the norm or where this "antique" look is desired at a reasonable price.
