As Featured in "This Old House," our crushed glass mosaics are made from scrap glass from other tile production. The pieces are then polished or tumbled to create a glossy or "seaglass" finish.

Each 12" x 12" x 3/16" sheet is mesh mounted for easy installation. Sheets may be cut with a scissors and pieced-in mosaic style for a seamless aesthetic. Glass can be cut using a wet saw, but could be unnecessary if the installer makes some minor adjustments in the placement of the individual glass pebbles. Given that each piece of glass is about the size of a pinto bean, there is plenty of room to apply grout around the smooth-edged pieces.

These mosaics may be installed on floors, walls, or in wet areas such as swimming pool surrounds. Tiles should be installed using appropriate setting materials for the application area. Sanded or unsanded grout may be used.

The smooth edges and the silky texture of the little gems are sure to calm the senses and offer new options for creativity in your tile design.
